2000 oldsmobile intrigue. consumer states problem with check engine light and a.i.r. pump *tgw the consumer stated the air conditioner failed and was blowing out hot air on the passenger side and cold air on the drivers' side. the wheels were no good. the plating on the inside would come off and create problems for the tires sealing properly, therefore an uneven wear occurred. the consumer also stated he began to have steering problems, there were several lights coming on the dash and going off, but the dealer was unable to diagnose the problem. the consumer began to investigate and discovered the part that was causing the lights to illuminate was the hydraulic brake modulator which cost $1,000. the transmission would shift hard at times and sometimes whine while driving. the turn signals did not always work or they would shut off while blinking. when the cruise control was activated, and the turn signal or head lights were activated the cruise control would deactivate by itself. the rear passenger window stopped working and the sway bar was cracked. also, the gas pedal would stick at times. the heated seats were too cool on low and too hot on high. *jb
