| The transmission and belt tensioner failed, the axle had broken, the horn, wipers, and cruise control failed. the a/c had gone out along with the condenser. there was fluid leakage in the power steering rack & pinion, the vehicle had gone dead. as a result the computer was replaced. the consumer requested to be reimbursed for the repair costs. scc *jb | |||

| This is definitely a safety defect as the horn doesn't work at all! chrysler/plymouth says is isn't a safety defect. how can this be, when you can't use the horn, the air bag won't work. that's not a safety defect?! the average cost for this repair is $250 - ridiculous! chrysler to date has sold over 124,511 replacement parts for this clockspring assembly. i would say this is quite a profit for a defective part. again, i think this is definitely a safety defect and chrysler should recall it! i'm hoping you can help with this problem. thanks!*ak | |||
