 S10 appropriate handling re secy testimony at the toyota hearing on 2/3 re toyota recent service bulletins fm owner many years ago of a pontiac bonneville that experienced the same problem as toyota vehicles. *kb the consumer stated many years ago he owned a pontiac bonneville. he was driving through a tunnel when all of a sudden, the vehicle accelerated out of control. he was able to place the gear into neutral and brought the vehicle to a stop. it happened 3 times to his recollection within a month. the consumer stated he was not using the cruise control. he took the vehicle to the dealer, but they were unable to find anything wrong. the pontiac dealership was told by corporate to remove the cruise control mechanism. the consumer stated this was for informational purpose only. *jb
