| My pontiac g5 2007 took several times to turn over and start. we've noticed a strong gas smell and upon looking under the car we are having a gas leak. the gas isn't dripping down however more like a condensation all over the outside of the gas tank. i noticed they have had a recall on this before (nhtsa campaign id number: 09v419000) and (gm recall no. 090226), however gm is not considering this as a recall. this is not acceptable because it states if this issue isn't correct it could cause a fire! i for one do not feel safe driving this car let alone my wife (especially being her car). the issue stated in the recall is (fuel system, gasoline:delivery:fuel pump) so i'm not understanding why i haven't been notified for this issue especially when the recall deals with my car. | |||
