| When i hit a bump even a lil one it sounds like there is something lose in front end. took it to preston motors in my city new castle, pa 16101 they looked at it like 5 times and put new parts on and it is still doing it. not sure if its a problem or not. it sounds like it might be in suspension. *tr | |||

| Tl- the contact owns a 2007 pontiac g6. the contact stated that he went to get his tires changed and the mechanic stated that the alignment was off. the contact notified the dealer to see if the vehicle was included in the warranty but they said it wasn't. the vehicle was repaired with a chamber alignment kit. the manufacturer was notified and they stated that there was no recall on this and to call nhtsa to get it added to a recall list. the failure mileage was 30,356. ap | |||

| 2008 pontiac g6 has issues with possible defects. *nj the consumer stated while driving 40 mph, the vehicle wandered. at 60 mph, the wandering increased and constant corrections had to be made to prevent an accident. the consumer also stated the brake pedal was too high and too far from the gas pedal. the consumer stated his foot did not come to rest evenly on the brake pedal, rather his foot came to rest unevenly on the pedal. the steering was inadequate. when the ratio between the steering wheel and the front driving suspension was too large, so at times of an emergency when a quick turn of the wheel is necessary to avoid a collision, such response is not available due to the defective construction of the vehicle. the response to the steering wheel was sluggish. the steering wheel did not turn with ease, but required excessive turning and excessive strength. the sunvisor extended too far down which impaired the consumers visibility. *jb | |||

| There's several issues with this car. first, the front right supension is bad causing the car to shake. second, i suddenly lost contol of the car on the highway almost causing a severe accident while driving approximatly 55-60 mph. it felt like the steering power was no longer working. last, both back door locks stopped working a couple of months after i purchased the car. i always have to let down the window in oder to manually unlock the doors. most of these issues occcured at 46,000 miles. | |||

| I have a 2008 pontiac g6, and while driving there is a knocking or sounds like something is loose on the left front suspension. they have replace the steering shaft, sway bar links, still having the problem. had it to the dealer 3-times. i am afraid something will break and cause me to wreck. can hear it gook hitting a pot hole in on the pavement or going down a gravel road that has pot holes. if something breaks and causes me to wreck, i will pursue if still available i will sue the dealership for not correcting this. i am tired of spending all my time at the dealership, they are suppose to have certified mechanics, but they don't take enough time to really fix the issue with my car. | |||

| At 38,500 miles, have had multiple problems with steering, including 2 steering shaft replacements, steering gear replacement. power steering will fail at various times while turning at low speeds. there is also a loud pop which the dealer diagnosed as the steering shaft, but is never fixed after replacement. also had to have cv joint replaced at 38,000 miles due to failure. this vehicle has never been wrecked or otherwise damaged. according to the dealer, these are very common problems with g6's and should be recalled. | |||
