| My complaint is when you turn on the air or the heat in the car you have to have the nob turned to 3 or you don't get anything out. which means you end up being to warm or too cold. at levels 1 & 2 nothing blows out of the vents. this has been on going for a few months.*ak | |||

| I bought this car used in the november 2001. with in 31 days the brakes started squealing took in for service was told that the brakes were shot and need replaced. this cost me $86. i went back on the dealer where purchased and he paid the other half. when i bought the car the windshield washer fluid tank had a hole in and had to be replaced this was covered under warranty and was in the shop at the same time with the brakes. they were to order the new tank when they had the car in for brakes and didn't i had to go back to get it installed. there was rear end noise that they told me was the control arm in the back, which the dealership told me that they would replace and it was covered under warranty. there was front end noise that they told me was the control arm on the drivers side and that there was a bushing that needed greased - that was covered under warranty. the molding on the side drivers doors was been put back on in october of 2001 before i purchased the car - the in september of 2002 it started coming off again - when i tried to get it in to be repaired at the dealership that did the work they couldn't get it in before the one year warranty expired - so i super glued it. in march 2003 the front end noises have come back so bad that it sounds like a old bed spring and no mechanic can seem to figure out where the noise is coming from or what is causing it. when my car was in the shop for this one of the censors in the front drivers side went bad and cost me $489. the brakes where also shot and need rotors turned because the dealership that put the brakes on back in 2001 put brake pads on warped rotors. when it rains and you are driving it sounds like the back passenger door is opened or the window is down. 6/30/03 the front end noise are still there - the passenger side reclining seat arm has broken off - the knob that turns the heat/air/defrost has broken off. i am the only person who drives this car. i still owe over 11,000.00 on this car. | |||

| Consumer' s vehicle had the same problem as mentioned in nhtsa recall 03v32700. the hazard warning switches may experience solder joint cracking caused by rapid temperature transitions and the soldering process. if solder joint cracking occurs and results in an open circuit, the turn signals/hazard lamps become intermittent or inoperative. dealership indicated to the consumer this vehicle was not included in the recall due to vin. *ak the hvac blower was inoperative. *sc *jb | |||

| I was having many problems with brakes and air conditioner. hello!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!come on here what does it have to take. i was told my brakes are the way they are because of the driving conditions and because i live in an area where there are hills. i was ready to break the dealers knee caps. who does he think i am. stupid. the guy who put the brakes on my car told me they made them to small for these cars anyways. so who do i believe. something needs to be done gm is ripping people off left and right. it s not right. for example i have gotten new rotors and brake pads at least three times. got sent on my way once and got rotors turned once. what else does gm need. why are they stalling. got my air conditioner fixed on may 13, 2003 for like i don't know how many times now i have lost count. anyways it is now may 22,2003 and it doesn't work. now i need to go back to the dealer again. i think all the people who work at gm need to drive nothing but all of our cars that have these brake problems and see how they like it. paying thousands of dollars for a hunk of junk. beware don't buy this car again and someone get there finger out of there you know what. *nlm | |||

| Tl* the contact owns a 2000 pontiac grand am. the contact entered and started the vehicle when the anti-theft system activated. the warning lights began to flash on the instrument panel. the contact stated he had to wait approximately ten to fifteen minutes with the key in the ignition before being able to start the vehicle. also, when driving at various speeds, the anti theft warning lights would illuminate on the instrument panel causing the vehicle to stall. the failure recurred intermittently and the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where the contact was advised that the fuel pump would need to be replaced. the fuel pump was replaced but the failure continued after the repairs. the vehicle was not further repaired. the vin was not available. the approximate failure mileage was 120,000. | |||

| My 2000 pontiac grand am has left me stranded about 100 times, i have had my car fixed 7 times for the security light problem under warranty but the problem has not been corrected. the car only starts when it wants to because of the pass lock system failure. please have gm recall the parts of the security feature it really isn't safe to be stranded when i work in the middle of night. *tr | |||

| Problems with braking system on 2000 pontiac grand am. *mr the brakes squealed, the front end would shake, the passenger and driver side windows were broken, the regulators in the doors were busted, the volume on the radio control was improper, the steering hose broke, the brakes and rotors were replaced 12 times, the vehicle would shake when braking, the transmission slipped, the vehicle burned excessive oil, the passenger side strut was bad, the power steering leaked, the engine acted as if it was going to stall, the cigarette lighter was inoperative, and the rear compartment filled with water. *sc *jb | |||

| I have a 2000 pontiac grandam gt, purchased 12/27/1999.i've had troubles from peeling paint,power window wouldn't let down ,to thread coming a loose on bucket,radio digitial display not showing completed numbers,tires making noises,car hestitate and some times acts as if it wants to continue on after i have applied the brakes,sunroof leaked,now the steering wheel crackes and pops at times like herman monsters back ,oil has now enter into the dexron coolant from the engine,this is my only source of transportation when the dealership gets your car they don't want give you equal transportation to use as long as needed until your vechile has been completely repaired the expect you to continuly run back an forth because the say they can only lend the car out for thus amount of days. then afterward rental place wants to start calling you about money on the extra time used in the car when it's not your fault your car isn't ready. | |||
