| I bought the car oct 2003 it had 23000 miles on it and then when it hit 30000 miles that's when trouble started my husband went to check on his brother and turned the car off and was off for 1 hour and went to start the car and it wouldn't stay running took it to the local repair man and he worked on it and nothing 250.00 dollars later he hauled it the gm dealer in independence ks. where they said it was the anti theft device had me locked out and the had to replace the module. 480.00 later. now when i drive a distance my check engine light comes on and my car acts like it tries to cut out and shifts hard and jerks. and my tract off light stays on now all the time. my last grand prix had 160000 miles on it before it started acting up. my local repair man said that i need to replace the brain module and all my problems well stop. and now when it rains my car feel up with water on the passenger side floor board 2 inches right now so if there is a recall on this car it needs to be the whole car. right now the car has 51000 miles. *jb | |||

| The consumer could hear noise while the a/c was on, the vehicle was taken to a dealer twice where they replaced a weak sprig tensioner once and then the alternator, the consumer could still hear the noise but it wasn?t as bad, but while driving with the cruise control on the vehicle suddenly accelerated causing the vehicle to spin around the proceed down a 70 foot ravine and bottom out, the consumer feels the cruise control may have been the problem all along, also during this accident the air bags failed .nlm | |||

| I purchased my certified gm used vehicle in october 2004- 2 months later i had to replace the serpentine belt and have the transmission 'solenoid' replaced, front brakes and rotors .some 100+ point inspection . in nov of 2005 i took the vehicle back in due to improper shifting, there i was told they had to do a lot of transmisson work. they had my car for 2 days. now in april of 2006 my car barely makes it to 40 mph, chugging all the way. the mechanic referred me to the dealership because there is no fuel problem and the computer needs to be checked-possibly replaced. a car with 65000 miles on it should not have this many problems. *jb | |||
