| Tl. the contact owns a 2002 pontiac grand prix. the contact stated when it rains water will leak inside the vehicle on the passenger side. the contact does not know where the leak is coming from but stated water builds up on the front passenger side floor. the contact has called the manufacturer and the manufacturer informed the contact to file a complaint and take the vehicle to a dealer. the contact took the vehicle to a local mechanic and the local mechanic could not diagnose the problem. the contact has not taken the vehicle to a dealer at this time. the contact stated there are numerous complaints regarding the leaking in the vehicle. the failure mileage was 84,000. jo | |||

| I own a 2002 grand prix gtp, the passenger side floor gets flooded everytime there is a heavy rain. i took it into the dealership and it was replaced under warranty, it was the front cowl seal. the seal has failed once again, but this time its not under warranty, i did some research and it seems that i am not the only one with this problem. *jb | |||

| 2002 pontiac grandprix excessive amount of rust in outer rocker panels. vehicle was purchased new and never had any major collision damage requiring body repair or replacement. other body components such as floor and body panels show little or no rust and corrosion. the rocker panels though are rotted out with big gaping holes as if there was no protective coating applied to the interior of these areas. replacement sections are not available, any repair would have to be either fabricated or from salvage. this area of body panel loss renders the vehicle structurally weakened/unsound and is a critical area in the vehicles impact protection. | |||

| The body of my 2002 pontiac grand prix seems to be separating at the seam where the quarter panel and the roof adjoin on both sides. on the left side(drivers) the quarter panel is buckled below the window for no apparent reason.*ak | |||

| While traveling approximately 20 mph, and making a left turn in traffic,the engine lost power and shut off unexpectedly, all electrical functions continued to operate, this problem occurred approximately six more times intermittently while traveling at various speeds, dealership has examined the vehicle three times, and could not reproduce the problem.*ak consumer also stated the alternator makes a loud humming noise through the radio, there is a rattle noise from the left wheel /suspension area, and there is a hole in the rear interior of the door panel, the front passenger seat has a ripple in the leather.*slc | |||
