Defect SummaryOn certain motor coaches and motor homes, the steering columns may be missing the lower bolt and nut. a replacement bolt and nut was installed to correct this situation on the production line. if a replacement bolt has been used and not tightened properly, the column may come out of the input shaft when the steering column adjustment mechanism is used.
Consequence SummaryIn such a case, a loss of steering would occur.

 Tl-the contact owns a prevost h345 bus. the contact stated that all of the tires on the vehicle have blown out. the mileage on the tires is 1,000. he stated that there was tread left on the tires. the tires did not impact anything like a pothole,etc. the tires were sent to continental in mt vernon,il. the contact stated to me later that some info that was needed , he could not supply because they have a fleet of buses. lm
