| Tl*the contact owns a 2002 r-vision trail bay 3000 series 5th wheel trailer. the contact stated that there was a failure within the pin box. it was insufficient and not strong enough to actually tow a vehicle due to the flexing of the steel. the contact discovered nhtsa campaign id number 03v013000 (trailer hitches:fifth wheel assembly), but the vehicle had been previously repaired according to the recall. the issue was not remedied and the failure recurred. the manufacturer informed the contact on how to repair it; however, they would not pay for the repairs. the failure mileage was not applicable. | |||
