In 1998, prior to notification of recall, the right rear tire tread parted and the carcass failed in a blowout at 55 mph. i replaced 3 tires with the same model and mounted the spare. i later received a recall notice. in 1999 i contacted camptown rv (a winnebago dealer) at the time. the service department refused (by phone) to honor the recall. last weekend, the left front tire failed in the same manner, except that the carcass did not blow out. it is important to learn from this second failure. while the original recall applied to the rear tires, these tires are also unsafe when used on the front end.( dot number: unknown tire size: 19570r15c )
