Defect SummaryThe seat belt d ring support bracket for the two companion seats (seats behind the driver/front passenger seats) was incorrectly installed.
Consequence SummaryIn its present location, the support bracket is not attached to a structural member and can separate from its mounting during an accident increasing the risk of personal injury.
Corrective SummaryDealers will inspect and, if necessary, remove and replace the seat belt d ring support bracket in the correct location.

Defect SummaryVehicle description: motor homes equipped with continental general tires. certain tires, when installed on these motor homes, can experience premature tire deterioration.
Consequence SummaryThis condition can cause the tire to deflate and personal injury and/or property damage can result.
Corrective SummaryDealers, in conjunction with continental general tire, will remove and replace these tires with new tires and new valve stems. the front tires and spare tire will be the same size as the existing tires. the rear tires will be size 215/70r15c and have a higher load rating.

 Owner replaced all four tires twice prior to recall # 72. two front tires were replaced on 7/14//97. rear tires were replaced on 10/15/97. these tires were replaced in may of 98 under recall # 72. in may of this year, owner replaced two rear tires because the steel belts broke. front tires were replaced on september 1st of this year for the same reason. the tires were on a 1996, winnebago, rialta. tire size in the front p19570r15c, and the back tire size p21570r15. *ak both continental and winnebago tires are defective and the companies have been informed but neither copmany has taken any action yet. *yh

 Vehicle experienced failure/blowout of continental tires prior to recall notice causing damage to vehicle, replacement tires may be defective also, recall repair completed however the tires that were previously replaced were refused to be replaced. mjs

 Dt*: the contact stated while driving 60mph an odor emitted causing the carbon monoxide alarm to beep. when the contact inspected the vehicle, the right rear wheel housing was ruptured in several places. the vehicle was taken to the dealership and the right rear wheel housing was replaced.
