I have a 2004 saab 9-3. today, i exited my car and when i closed the door, the adhesive holding the glass to my side view mirror failed(the mirror/glass fell to the ground). this is the first time this has happened to me. i feel that this is a serious concern because i use my mirrors all the time while driving and making safe lane changes. i now have a drivers side mirror(glass) that is no longer there. i feel this is a serious safety issue. many people have certain medical issues that will not allow them to completely turn their neck/torso to the left to view oncoming traffic while trying to merge. if a person with said problem lost the ability to view their mirror they will be forced to blindly merge into lanes that they cannot be sure are clear and safe. furthermore, i looked into replacing the mentioned mirror and came upon this website. (https://www.internetglassnetwork.com/ssl/saab/9_3.htm) you can clearly read that this is a very common problem.
