Defect SummarySaab is recalling 57,389 my 2002-2008 9-5 series vehicles for failing to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 201, occupant protection in interior impact. during compliance testing, one of the upper interior occupant protection test points exceeded the standard's requirements.

 2002 saab 9-5 linear sedan, passenger side seat moved back on it owns. *bf the seat pinned the consumers daughter and she was unable to move. the consumer stated some papers fell between the seat and the door hitting the controls which activated the seat movemen.t even after the consumer turned the vehicle off the seat did not stop moving, once the consumer got out of the vehicle and opened the door the seat stopped. *jb
