| The headlights and interior lights repeatedly dim during normal operation of the vehicle. this is unsafe as it can be interpreted by other motorists as a go-ahead signal or as a deliberate aggrevation. upon bringing it to the dealer i was informed that this is a known issue and that it is acceptable and normal. nothing was worked on or fixed. the car is still under warranty and has had this problem for as long as i can remember owning it. this information was not made apparant to us before purchasing this vehicle. if it were available, we would not have purchased this defective vehicle.*ak | |||

| Headlights and dashboard lights flicker when break and clutch are applied. they also flicker when just normal driving. this is an intermittent problem. it does not appear to effect any other electrical components (radio, heat, windows etc.). it is quite annoying. i have had the car back to the dealer 2 times for this problem and it won't repeat for them. at the last visit they had the car several days and it wouldn't repeat. i have also noticed this on an oncoming saturn. *ak | |||

| While driving at any speed the headlights and dashboard lights dim 40-50% when the cooling fan kicks on. my drive to work in the morning is 16 miles and the lights flash sometimes 10- 15 times. this morning was around 30 times. i've had this problem with this car since i got it. i have taken it to saturn 4 times but all they tell me is that's the way it is designed i wrote to the corporate office made such a complaint, they replaced my car with another at a cost to me of $675.00. both the first car and the replacement car do the same thing. i could not believe any car manufacturer would design a vehicle like this. my wife has a 2002 l200 also and hers does not do that. i will gladly video tape this and send you a copy of the tape. it is a hazard when your lights are flashing at the car in front of you. | |||
