| Tl*the contact owns a 2007 saturn outlook. when the contact purchased the vehicle, there was a recall on the transmission that was never repaired. while driving 65 mph, she noticed transmission failure when the gears became difficult to shift. the vehicle would also remain stuck in high rpm's while attempting to slow down. the contact stated that the vehicle sounded as if it would explode. the dealer performed a computer update on the transmission, but it did not remedy the failure. furthermore, a strut spontaneously became bent, which caused the steering wheel to jerk at a 90 degree angle. the dealer repaired the strut. the contact smelled gasoline multiple times coming from her vehicle. the dealer was unable to identify the origin of the smell and could not assist. the current mileage was approximately 26,500 and failure mileage was approximately 854. | |||

| When the gas tank is at 1/4 or less and the car is parked on an incline either forward or backwards the gas gauge reads empty for at least 10 minutes after the car is started. since the gauge reads empty the car stalls once it is started or it doesn't start. when it stalls after the car is in drive i loose my power brakes and i am unable to apply my brakes easily and my children and i are put in a bad safety situation. i am unable to stop if something or someone runs in front of the car when it stalls. this is a 2007 saturn outlook. saturn says they are aware of the problem however, i was told by them everytime i bring the car in to make them aware to see if a fix is available. *jb | |||

| The fuel tank in our new (two day old) 2007 saturn outlook ended up with a hole in it, leaving a pool of fuel in my mother's driveway. we were being very careful, since it was a new vehicle and do not remember hitting anything that could have potentially caused the fuel tank to bust. after further investigation, pictures backed this up by showing no damage to the undercarriage of the car, less the busted fuel tank. i am concerned because the plastic fuel tank has no shield on the tank. my concern was further increased when an individual at the saturn service shop in amarillo was trying to prove that the tank was strong enough not to need a shield when he punctured a similar tank by hitting it with a hammer. is this tank safe or am i putting my children in a dangerous vehicle?*jb | |||

| Problems with passenger airbag - sometimes it would say off when a passenger is seated and sometimes it would say on and then turn off after some time. had to have work done on the fuel pump, then the drive shaft went to the point where it car had to be towed. i was told that this never happens. currently, the car now kicks back when the car is first moved for that day and the dash board will flash, either, speed limited to 108pmh (when pulling out of driveway), park assist is off (when it is on),or traction control is off (when it has never been touched) - the car will also shut off without me doing so. i have taken it to a saturn dealership and they say that they can find anything wrong with the car. i am currently five months pregnant and i do not feel safe in the car. when the car kicks back it hurts. *tr | |||
