| Our 2007 saturn outlook experienced complete system failure -ie everything turned off while driving - more than once. after many trips, some by tow truck, to the dealership service department, gm finally resolved the issue by replacing the car's computer. this was after several near death experiences driving the car and suddenly being without brakes or steering. now the car leaks, filling the floor mats with water, splashing the driver with water at every change of speed. the seatbelts have black mold, and starting last week, the car isnt starting, likely due to water in the electrical system. we believe the water coming out of the air bag holes may prevent the air bags from functioning properly in a crash. we are not alone with these problems. please see ' saturn leaking sunroof' forum on edmunds.com for many more customer complaints just like ours. we have been in touch with gm but expect to be told to 'go to the dealer'.. again. the chevy dealer we use does not know how to resolve the issue, despite it being a widespread problem with this car (also the other makes of this same model). we do not believe the car is safe. this car was a lemon from the start, but nothing has been done about it. | |||

| Wave plate broke inside the transmission. loose metal from wave plate damaged many parts throughout the transmission. original estimate was $3500 due to being 3 months outside warranty. gm agreed to cover remaining bill if i paid $1100 due to the relatively low mileage (78k). one small wave plate caused thousands of dollars of damage and gm knows this is a problem with the '07, '08, '09 saturn outlook. | |||

| I purchased my car from carmax and not even a month after, it rained really hard one night and the inside of my car on the driver side was leaking. i took it back and they called themselves fixing and i ended having the same problem again.long story short i recently had the problem again but this time the leak is all over the car on the roof and this time carmax told me to take it gm and they said that it was just a clogged.i'm having to many problems with the same thing and nobody is taking blame for it.either they fix it for good or i want a replacement vehicle. | |||

| This vehicle has a problem with leaking water when it rains! water will leak from the sunroof and pool in the passenger front seat foot well. it will fill the glove box and the foot well. the vehicle has been to the dealership for the problem every year since it has been owned by us. we recentley were out of town and had to let the vehicle sit outside while we were away. when we arrived back from our trip the vehicle was filled with water in the footwell of the passenger side. all of the windows were steamed up, and the temperature outside was around 95 degrees, since then it has continued to rain and i have had to shop vac out the standing water. the biggest problem is the mold that has begun to grow in the car. the glove box has filled with water and ruined everything in it. there have been multiple warning lights that have come on since such as check airbags which i have personally seen water leak from. this is no longer a safe vehicle for me, my wife , or my three young children. i haven't been able to reach anyone other than the dealer to express my concern. i love the vehicle but my family's health is priority. | |||

| During a rain, water started pouring out of the airbag and seatbelt covers on the passenger side. water was leaking out of headliner between windshield and door. it is dripping all the way down the side near the glove compartment onto the floor. i am concerned that others have had this same issue with no resolution. i am afraid that it will damage the electronic components and make the airbags and seatbelts fail. please help get this recalled!!!!!! | |||

| Sunroof leaking water into the passage compartment and down the front firewall and glove box compartment. water entered into the cover that hides the front a/c blower motor. motor is sitting in 1-2 inches of water. motor starting to corrode and stopped working. lucky there wasn't a fire. found utube video describing how to fix this problem. removed cover to blower and freed up blower motor corrosion. ordered a replacement blower motor. drilled 2 holes in this cover to allow future water collection a drainage route out of this cover. sunroof needs recalled and blower motors need recalled as well. http://youtu.be/fnykjlhusxi cost to repair this was $78 for part and about 1 hour labor. | |||

| There is an issue with all these vehicles with water leaking into the vehicles somewhere as of today 1/20/2012 the dealership has had my vehicle and can not find where the water is coming in. the water is leaking out thru the airbag areas, the seatbelt areas and the headliners onto the dash. i am worried about electrical problems. gm/saturn has had several complaints about this issue (edmunds.com) shows a multitude of complaints but there yet has been any recall made to attempt to figure out this problem and not only that the dealership said i could be financially responsible for this and not gm/saturn even though there are serious issues with this happening. this leak could if it has not already caused some type of electrical issues that have not been detected yet and i will be stuck because gm will not recall this item. they did have arecall for this in 08 but it doesn't seem to be holding up and i was actually told by a dealership that i was screwed. help us please | |||

| 2 weeks after purchasing this vehicle, my passenger side airbags would flash red on and off everytime a passenger was getting in and out of the seat. this is a continue concern for me and the safety of my family. i worry that if the airbag is flashing and not working and we get into an accident that someone would get extremely hurt or even killed. there is currently a recall on this issue, but when i called the saturn hotline to file a complaint, they stated that my vehicle/vin # was not on the recall list. this is ridiculous as this is a safety issue and obviously it should be taken care of free of charge at my local gm dealership since it has a recall. | |||

| My saturn outlook began to fail electrically last week. . . resulting in a diagnosis of clogged sunroof drains. i have read to great extent how this is a specific defect of these saturn (now gm) vehicles and yet the dealership will not claim any resposibility?! i am blown away by the almost $2000 price tag to fix what is in effect their fault. | |||

| Vehicle accelerates on its own - this has happen 4 times in the last few months. this seems to happen at any speed. on aug 14, 2011, almost hit another vehicle in traffic jam, while vehicle was trying to accelerate while i had the brake pressed. other time happen on the freeway in traffic vehicle accelerated, had to press brake to slow down vehicle until acceleration stopped. another time this happen while decelerating on a freeway off-ramp. another time was on a secondary road. each time the acceleration lasted about 3 to 5 seconds. pressing the brake did not stop the acceleration. | |||

| When purchased we were told there had been a problem with sunroof leakage but it had been fixed. since then 5 times in for repair leaking sunroof water coming out of airbag holders, dome lights ,overhead electronics. several fuses have been blown now we wonder if the side impact airbags are still functional water ran out by them. this is not just a drip but water pours out. | |||

| My 2007 outlook xr leaks water inside of it and is messing up the electrical stuff in it. it has started telling me to have the airbag serviced, so now i am worried that it will either randomly go off or not go off when it is supposed to. it has told me that my car was over heated when i have just started it. it has continued to keep running when i have turned the key off and removed it from the ignition switch. i have read several other complaints on the internet from other owners. edmunds website has several complaints on there that you can read. i have contacted general motor over this matter because the water leaking in is from factory defects. other owners have taken their outlooks in to the general motors service centers numerous times and their outlooks continue to leak. i had the top of my outlook covered with plastic and water still leaked in when it rained. i vacuumed 6 gallons of water out of it and could not get all of the water out, which is going to lead to it molding and mildewing. something needs to be done to pull these unsafe vehicles off the road. | |||

| Problems with passenger airbag - sometimes it would say off when a passenger is seated and sometimes it would say on and then turn off after some time. had to have work done on the fuel pump, then the drive shaft went to the point where it car had to be towed. i was told that this never happens. currently, the car now kicks back when the car is first moved for that day and the dash board will flash, either, speed limited to 108pmh (when pulling out of driveway), park assist is off (when it is on),or traction control is off (when it has never been touched) - the car will also shut off without me doing so. i have taken it to a saturn dealership and they say that they can find anything wrong with the car. i am currently five months pregnant and i do not feel safe in the car. when the car kicks back it hurts. *tr | |||
