| Defect Summary | Vehicle description: certain passenger vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of fmvss no. 301, fuel system integrity. these vehicles were built with an inadequate vent valve weld on the top portion of the fuel tank. | |||||||||||||||
| Consequence Summary | Fuel spillage could occur during refueling or if the vehicle were involved in a rollover. if an ignition source were present, a fire could occur. | |||||||||||||||

| Fuel system,gasoline:storage tank assembly.nhtsa id #00v309000. spoke to a person today and they said that my cae is not one of the affected vehicles in this recall. i have this car almost 7 years and never received a notice of this. how can i make sure that my car is not affected i feel that i will get a hard time if i ask them to inspect to make sure. also gave them my vin number to verify to make sure. please help! *tr | |||
