| I was driving on the interstate (i90) near rockford il when all of the sudden my side curtain air bags deployed. there was no accident and the front air bags did not deploy. the seat belts locked up and the lights started flashing. this issue has not been resolved through gm. my insurance company says they wont fix it because it was not in an accident. gm has not been helpful at all. gm had an independent investigator out. the investigator said it was obvious it was not in an accident. gm has been very vague in its response. only saying that they believe the air bag system is ok, something must have made it go off. *tr | |||

| Tl- the contact owns a 2007 saturn vue. the contact stated that the passenger's side air bag warning light would illuminate whenever the passenger seat was occupied. the failure began when the wire used for the heated passenger's seat failed. the contact took the vehicle to the dealer and was told that the heat element wire fractured and caused the failure. the dealer advised that the failure was common with his particular model that had the optionally heated seat. the vehicle was not repaired. the failure mileage was unknown, but the current mileage was 75,000. kmj | |||

| Tl- the contact owns a 2007 saturn vue. the contact stated the passenger side air bag light goes on when someone is sitting in the seat. the contact stated that this failure started when the wire used to heat the passenger seat broken. the contact took the vehicle to the dealer and was told the heat element wire broke causing the failure. the dealer stated this is only a problem with the saturns that have the optionally heated seat. the failure mileage was unknown, but the current mileage was 75,000.rl | |||

| I purchased the used vue it came with 12,000 or 12 months warranty we had it in the dealer many times,of course the air bag light wouldn't stay on. they told us they adjusted sensor code b0092. every other when there was something wrong they replaced parts but not this air bag light. after the 12,000 warranty was up the air bag light stays on. i brought it the dealer where we purchased saturn after a $99.00 bill,2 yrs later the light is on. ever once and a while if you twist and the light will go off. we are going to give this car to our daughter who is having a baby. will it be safe for a family car? thank you *tr | |||

| I bought a 2007 saturn vue from a dealer as well and my air bag on the passenger side comes on a lot to. it is on when no one is sitting in it but turns off when someone does sit in it. no matter the size or weigh of that person sometimes it will say it is on sometimes it will say it has been turned off. not sure if there is really anything wrong with the airbag or it is just a light telling you there is. on-star says that airbags are fine though. little concerned if there is something wrong with the airbags because that is one heck of a lawsuit they will have on there hands if we are to ever get in an accent and the airbags did not deploy. if it was indeed a manufacturing issue and it seems to be the case here, it should be fixed for free and fast for safety reasons. ## vin failed ## 2007 saturn vue ## *tr | |||

| My 2007 saturn vue all the time since i purchased it the passenger side deployment bag light will not work, unless i turn on the passenger heat , and the seat does not heat up, and i am still not sure it will work because it is an electrical problem, also my electric windows won't work on several occasions, and the ignition shift the key sticks and steering column locks when this happens, and it won't release the key. dealer won't deal with it, wonder if there has been any other complaints because i do not feel safe especially when i have passengers, it cannot be trusted, not sure of any recalls, but it definitely needs to be looked into and fixed before anyone could get hurt. | |||

| I have two 2007 saturn vehicles, a vue and an ion the air bag light comes on periodically. i took the vue to a dealer and they said the sensor was bad and wanted to charge about $500.00 yo fix it. the ion has the same problem but i haven't taken it in to be checked. it looks to me like there is a problem with the 2007 saturns and should be fixed by gm. | |||

| Heard what seemed to be road noise was told by dealer it was my tires after changing tires was told it was a front end bearing and was replaced by the dealer. two months later same noise, returned to dealer and was told the other side bearing was defective it was replaced. i still have what sounds like drive train noise but get no acknowledgement from dealer. air bag sensor on passenger side is defective, doors are aligned so poorly that daylight can be seen through the seal. this is a 2 year old vehicle and has been well maintained. i fear that i may be jeopardizing my family's safety by driving it. is there a lemon law or any options for me. *tr | |||

| Passenger air bag fails to acknowledge lightweight passengers though they are over 100 pounds. failure of about 85% of the time noted shortly after purchase. at first the saturn dealer in gresham said they would do nothing about it, then making it clear this was not acceptable they replaced the sensor. before long the same problem occasional occurred, now it has become over 50% of the time. sometimes going off after driving a while, sometimes cycling off and on. *tr | |||

| Tl*the contact owns a 2007 saturn vue. after purchasing the vehicle in july of 2007, the contact had to take the vehicle back to get a new one three hours later. when he took the vehicle to the dealer for 5,000 mile servicing, the dealer discovered a recall, informed the contact, and made the repairs. within twenty days, the contact had to have three hybrid electrical wiring harnesses replaced, the entire vehicle was re-wired, and a new transmission was installed. all the instrument panel and air bag lights illuminated intermittently. the dealer stated that if the air bag light is illuminated, it is inoperable. on two separate occasions, the contact had to have the failures repaired again. the dealer stated that there was a new recall related to the emission, but they could not perform the repair. they recommended a shop (freemond auto) and they replaced the factory fitting for that make and model. while at a traffic light with the brake pedal depressed, the engine shut off and restarted. the vehicle rolled back while the brake pedal was still depressed. the contact is still experiencing wiring and transmission failure. the failure mileage was 4,800 and current mileage was 16,311. updated 4/7/08 *cn updated 04/07/08 *tr | |||
