Defect Summary	Certain truck campers, fifth wheel and travel trailers equipped with a two-door refrigerator, manufactured by the dometic corporation, may have a defect in the boiler tube. pressurized coolant solution could be released into an area where an ignition source (gas flame) is present.
Consequence Summary	Release of coolant under certain conditions could ignite and result in a fire.
Corrective Summary	Skyline will be working with dometic in order to repair these refrigerators (please see 06e076). dometic will repair these refrigerators by installing a secondary burn housing, a thermal fuse, and a melt fuse free of charge. dometic has retained stericycle inc. to manage this campaign. stericycle will assist you in locating dealerships or service centers and will provide assistance with scheduling of appointments. owners may contact dometic/stericycle at 1-888-446-5157 or skyline at 1-574-294-6521.

Defect Summary	On certain sportwagon travel and fifth wheel trailers, the screws used to attach the lift bed support bracket to the wood bed frame are too short.
Consequence Summary	The bed can separate from the support bracket, increasing the risk of injury to occupants in the bed or underneath the bed.
Corrective Summary	Dealers will install three 3/8 carriage bolts per support bracket. owner notification began february 3, 2003. owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact skyline at 1-800-733-4250.

Defect Summary	On certain sportwagon or rampage travel and fifth wheel trailers equipped with the optional generator/fueling station, there is no check valve installed in the fueling station which could cause gasoline to siphon out.
Consequence Summary	Fuel leakage in the presence of an ignition source could cause a fire.
Corrective Summary	Dealers will install a check valve. owner notification began february 3, 2003. owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact skyline at 1-800-755-6521.

	Tl*the contact owns a 2002 skyline nomad rv. the vehicle has a dometic refrigerator, model rm2652. the contact noticed residue leaking from the refrigerator and the unit stopped operating without warning. the refrigerator was taken to an authorized dealer for inspection and the technician stated that the cooling unit and heating element failed. in addition, there was corrosion in the control board due to ammonia. a new refrigerator was purchased and the contact received a recall notice for nhtsa campaign id number 08e032000 (equipment) after the replacement. dometic was notified, but refused to provide reimbursement and honor the service warranty. the contact was displeased to know that there was a recall and no resolution. the part number was unavailable. the failure mileage was unknown.

	I received a recall notice from skyline corporation for dometic refrigerator recall. our travel trailer had all 4 issues that was described. went to dometic website and entered model number and serial number and came back that my unit is affected. took to rv dealer that we had bought our unit from and explained the issue and the recall notice. they were familiar with the recall and had us bring the unit up to take a look at. they called back with news that the refrigerator is shot and it had a bad cooling unit and leaked all the coolant out. the cost of repair was $1300 for cooling unit or $1650 for a new refrigeration. i was told they had contacted dometic and they would not cover the cooling unit under the recall. the boiler tube that has a fatigue crack is recalled and then leaks the pressurized coolant out thus being a fire hazard. this is the cooling unit. i have contacted a certified tech who works on air and cooling who also does appliances to verify this. now either dometic is not standing behind their recall or this dealer was trying to pull a fast one as they would not get full shop rate and part mark up on the recall repair. we just want our refrigerator fixed. ketelson rv in hiawatha, iowa is dealer. mike in service was contact. refrigerator model # rm 2652, serial # 13700739. it is a 2002 travel trailer, model nomad. *tr
