Defect SummaryStarcraft is recalling certain model year 2011 autumn ridge ar-one, autumn ridge and lexion s-lite travel trailers manufactured between october 29, 2010, and january 27, 2011. these trailers may have cracked bolts attaching the leveling jacks to the trailer frame. if all of the bolts break, it could result in the jack coming loose from the frame.
Consequence SummaryIf the jack comes loose while the vehicle is in motion a crash, injury or death may result.
Corrective SummaryDealers will replace the fasteners attaching the leveling jacks to the frame with more robust fasteners. this service will be performed free of charge. the safety recall is expected to begin during may 2011. owners may contact starcraft at 1-800-945-4787.

 Tl-the contact owns a 2011 starcraft autumn ridge ar-one. the contact stated that while the vehicle was being towed, water was leaking from the air conditioning unit. the contact also stated that according to the installation manual, the air conditioning unit was not to be installed through the window. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer and the dealer stated that the air conditioning unit needed to be installed on a slant. the manufacturer was notified, but the vehicle was not repaired. the failure and current mileages were 400. sm.

 Tl- the contact owns a 2011 starcraft rv model ar 1 b . the contact stated while the trailer was towed the contact noticed a water leak coming from the air conditioning unit. the contact stated according to the installation manual the air conditioning unit, for the trailer was not to be installed through the window. the rv was taken to the dealer and the diagnosis received was the air conditioner unit needs to installed on a slant. the manufacturer was contacted,but the trailer was not repaired. the failure and current mileages traveled were 400 miles. rds
