 Tl- the contact owns a 2006 subaru b9 tribeca. the contact was driving approximately 35 mph when the brakes were applied but the vehicle did not respond. the brake pedal fell to the floorboard after applying excessive force. the vehicle crashed into the rear of another vehicle. the driver of the other vehicle was reported injured. a police report was filed. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where the mechanic advised that the master cylinder had to be replaced. the failure continued after repairs and the vehicle as taken back to the mechanic. the master cylinder was replaced three times. the contact continued to experience the failure. the technician stated that the master cylinder, brake pads and brake booster would have to be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired. the vin was not available. the approximate failure mileage was 78,000. kmj

 Auto-acceleration while driving in traffic on 4 separate occasions. dealer is unable to diagnose or resolve. this creates an ongoing hazard as occurrence is unpredictable. *jb
