| Tl- the contact owns a 2008 subaru forester. while the contact is seated in the front passenger seat the air bag deactivation light on the dash board illuminated. the vehicle was taken to the dealer where the technicians checked the sensors stated it was set to the appropriate weight according to manufacturer specifications. they informed the contact there was nothing they could do and suggested the contact sit in the back seat. the contact stated she has to place weights on the seat in order for the air bag to be activated when she rides in the vehicle. the manufacturer was contacted and stated they could not assist. the approximate failure mileage 13,000. ds | |||
