 Jerky throttle. *tr

Abrupt on/off throttle can cause sudden and unexpected rapid deceleration and acceleration, destabilizing the vehicle potentially leading to loss of control and a crash. the problem seems to occur at lower engine rpm's (4,000-6,000 rpm) and seems most prevalent at high engine temperatures (205+ degrees) and especially when the vehicle is turned on and started while at higher temperatures. *tr

2007 suzuki gsx-r 600. herky jerky power delivery, incorrect or defective tps. very bad, though intermittent throttle response and heavy engine braking are unsafe. freeway accident may have been caused or aggravated by this issue, as no other cause is apparent. *tr

Abrupt on/off throttle can cause sudden and unexpected rapid deceleration and acceleration, destabilize the vehicle potentially leading to loss of control and a crash. the problem seems to occur at lower engine rpm's (4,000-6,000 rpm) and seems most prevalent at high engine temperatures (205+ degrees) and especially when the vehicle is turned on and started while at higher temperatures. people that i've talked to with the same bike and problem are making adjustments that are not recommended by dealers to get rid of the problem. *tr

2007 gsxr 600 has some sort of fuel injection/throttle problem. while at lower rpm's, the bike shuts off and then comes back on causing dangerous unstable throttle response. it happens with the slightest movement in the throttle and while rolling off throttle, it slams the bike forward in a jerking motion as if the bike has shut off. then, when you give it gas, it throws you back in the seat by coming on with full power. very strange and very dangerous. dealer says they don't know how to fix the problem seems as if a lot of other suzuki gsxr owners have had this problem, so i'm wondering why there is no fix for this? very dissatisfied with my 07 gsxr 600 and if there is no fix, i will take it to the closest honda dealership and trade it in! this could easily cause a crash if one were to not be expecting the jerking of the bike while on/off throttle. very unstable power delivery. *tr

On/off throttle causes sudden acceleration and deceleration. bike would jerk when the throttle is slightly turn on and then off. *tr

2007 gsxr 600. this is the herky jerky throttle problem that happens to a lot of these bikes. between 0-10% throttle the bike will suddenly cut power and then reengage power causing the bike to jerk. this can be a major problem when taking a corner at a high lean angle where low amounts of throttle are used. this could easily result in a crash... *tr

This is a complaint in reference to throttle irregularities found on the 2007 suzuki gsxr 600 sport bike. the throttle irregularity experienced can be described as an abrupt transition from subtle modulation of applying throttle or disengaging the throttle. the result creates a sudden and unexpected surge or rapid deceleration or the motorcycle. this creates a destabilizing effect to the chassis and potential loss of control. the problem occurs at lower engine rpm (4,000 to 6000 rpm), and often at higher engine temperatures. the problem also occurs often after the motorcycle is restarted or started at higher engine temperatures. *tr

I own a 2007 suzuki gsxr 600, in between 4000-6000 rpm there is no real throttle control, your can not accelerate or decelerate smoothly, its real jerky, if this happens in a corner the back tire could be thrown into a skid causing a wreck, the problem does not exist all the time, and i have found when you find the problem happening if you will pull over and restart the bike the problem will go away for awhile. *tr

Abrupt throttle response. bike seems to turn on/off quickly when trying to maintain speed. happens at least once a ride(hour or so rides). suzuki dealerships don't know what the problem is. other people with the same bike have this problem as well. *tr

I just purchased my bike the 3 of october 2007 from honda suzuki of salt lake. as of today april 21 2008 i have 1,588 miles on my bike. since i had reached the point of almost 1,000 miles, which is the break in point, my bike has had a problem. the throttle will suddenly drop and the engine will almost stop running, and has completely stopped running twice. when this happens while driving could easily cause me severe injury, and i am lucky that it has not. due to my research this problem is wide spread. several people have discovered that suzuki factory set of the tps sensor is often off. dealer ships will not service this problem under warranty. even when this problem is addressed it only appears to mask a serious problem that could easily lead to the death of a rider, if the throttle sudden shut down and suddenly kick back on as if the engine were prepping to restart it's self. so far my problem exists at low rpms but my research reveals that others problem is much more serious than mine. i am truly terrified of this problem getting worse, and it is intermittent and not consistent. meaning that it only happens occasionally and is completely unexpected when it does. i don't want to be injured because of a problem with suzuki's design flaw. it is illegal to mess with my tps sensor being part of the emissions system and i have already spent $10,000 on a new bike that should be problem free. i hope that suzuki addresses this problem before myself or someone else is injured or killed. the factory setting of this sensor should be set at 1.125v many people have found the setting of their bike to be 1.339v or even worse. this setting even being off by a hundredth of a volt can be serious and cause a significant failure of the bike's throttle control, thus seriously affecting one's ability to control their bikes path. i hope this helps and i would very much like to see this addressed. i have considered selling my bike, but could not morally endanger others. *tr

Bike jerks suddenly both accelerating and deccelrating without warining and seeminly no change in throttle position. very dangerous in corners as the front wheel is unloaded suddenly and loses traction. *tr
