| I have had some challenges changing gears from first to second in the past. challenges include not fully engaging second and resting in neutral. i understand that the gsx-r 750 (2000 model) has had this problem since its introduction. while riding on friday, may 4th at 7:15 pm, i attemped to engage third gear (with firm placement), and the bike downshifted to a lower gear causing the rear wheel to lock and skid. after the incident, the motorcycle would not fully engage any gear leaving the tranmission rather useless. many people with 2000 gsx-r 750s appear to have transmission problems. why is suzuki not alerting 2000 gsx-r 750 owners to this problem before someone is seriously injured due to this somewhat frequent event? | |||
