| Purchased vehicle on 6/29/12. airbag warning light came on two weeks later. research indicates that my airbags are now disabled. authorized suzuki dealer/repair facility is 125 miles away. on line blogs and this website indicate problems with disconnect in seat sensor embedded within front passenger seat cushion. suzuki will not cover costs to repair/replace seat cushion. safety issue seams to be with all suzuki sx4's. how do we, the consumer, get american suzuki to recall this airbag issue? | Tl* the contact owns a 2009 suzuki sx4. the contact stated that the vehicle was taken for a routine oil change. two weeks later, the air bag and tire pressure warning lights were illuminated on the instrument panel. the vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnosis where they advised that the sensors needed to be replaced for both components. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was not contacted. the failure mileage was 62,000 and the current mileage was 63,419. | |||
