Corrective SummaryDealers will install an adapting wiring harness. owner notification began on october 30, 2003, to verona vehicle owners. all forenza vehicles were repaired at the port of entry. there are no owner notifications necessary for the forenza model vehicles. owners should contact suzuki at 1-800-934-0934.

 Tl*the contact owns a 2004 suzuki verona. while the contact's husband was driving 25 mph, he t-boned another vehicle. the front end of the vehicle was smashed in and the vehicle was destroyed. the air bags failed to deploy. two occupants were injured and a police report was filed. the manufacturer has not been notified. the current and failure mileages were 60,287. updated 10-08-08 *bf updated 10/09/08. *jb

 I bought a 2004 suzuki verona 4 dr sedan on 19 oct 2003 and they called me on the 22 of oct 2003 telling me not to drive the car and return it as soon as possible because of a air bag problem. i took it back to them on the 23 of oct and they stll have my car and haven't received a fix for it yet from suzuki of america and i was wondering why it isn't on the recall list yet. i would like to know what is going on with suzuki as i am now out of a new car and just waiting??? *la

 After being struck by another vehicle, then striking a concrete post, the air bags did not deploy. prior to being struck, consumer's vehicle was traveling at 70 mph. *ak consumer sustained minor injuries. vehicle considered a total loss. *tt

 A 40 mph offset frontal crash test was performed on a 2004 suzuki verona at the institute's vehicle research center. after the crash test, it was apparent the driver front air bag failed to deploy properly. *ph the air bag only partially inflated and provided little protection for the dummy's head. once the dummy's forward momentum had stopped, the flat airbag began to rapidly inflate, which propelled the dummy rearward until it contacted the b-pillar. *nm
