Problem with the anti-lock brakes. brakes would shudder, make a loud noise and vibrated. had to pump them to come to a complete stop. coleman dealership (lawrenceville, nj 08648) claimed it was due to warped rotors. replaced rotors brake pads and flushed brake system. problem recurred immediately after leaving the dealership. returned car to dealership on 6/08/2010. dealership stated the problem was due to a broken sensor. dealership replaced sensor under warranty, but problem with sensor recurred after 10 months and the anti-lock brakes do not work. was told the brake failure was due to a broken sensor again. car is unsafe to drive. also, air bag light stays on continuously (told this would not affect air bag performance) but that it is an electrical problem.

2005 suzuki verona driver and passenger side airbag warning light illuminated continuously. mechanic was never able to repair problem. vehicle made noise while applying brakes, and cruise control did not work. *kb the air bag malfunction was due to a loose connection, and the cruise control malfunction was due to a problem with the brake light switch. the problem with the air bag light resurfaced again, and the dealer stated the problem was the front seat harness. the third time the air bag light illuminated, the consumer was told it was the air bag assembly. the brake noise was due to warped rotors. *jb

Dt*: the contact stated the airbag light illuminated without warning. the dealership determined the airbag connector needed to be cleaned due to corrosion. after the vehicle was returned from the dealer, the light illuminated again. the dealership concluded that the airbag sensor was faulty.

I rear ended a completely stopped vehicle doing approximately 45mph. my head hit the steering wheel and then the windshield causing me to suffer a laceration of my eye, multiple facial bruising, concussion, temporarily knocked out, when i woke up i was paralyzed from the waist up for approximately 15 minutes. my air bags did not deploy. this crash is as frontal of a crash as you can get and i assure you the speed was 40-45 and that the collision was severe.. the suzuki manual says airbags will deploy on frontal or near frontal collisions at 9mph -- 13mpg if you hit something that wont move, but if you hit a parked car the airbags require you to be slightly over that for air bag deployment. i researched this and suzuki recalled 5 models in 2005 for defective airbags, 2 models in another country were recalled due to faulty airbags. the (2004) verona failed its crash test due to faulty airbags. it is my contention that due to horrifically low sales of this model, suzuki felt that it would be cheaper to litigated accidents then to recall this vehicle. so in this instance they will have their chance to litigate!! *tr
