| I bought a new 2004 touareg in dallas. two to three weeks into driving it, the navigation system/radio/cd went completely dark and stopped working. it's now stuck on one radio station. nothing else works and the screen is 100% black. the dealership told me that they a) have no replacement unit b) there is not a unit in the usa c) they can't ship one from germany d) they won't disable a car on the lot and swap units and e) that i have to return my loan car and drive my touareg until a part comes in (which may be never according to them). i asked for either a new car or all of my money back. they refused that as well. at this point i have kept their loan car and my lawyer served papers on the gm of the dealership this morning. i really hope that either volkswagenor the dealership does the right thing.*ak | |||

| Was driving with my 2004 33' tahoe fury toy hauler swayed the entire way. it swayed into the median and blew three tires on the left side and did lots of body damage. the swaying is a big problem no matter how i try to set this up. i have found a campaign id 04v24300 but the manual claims it has been canceled so now there is no remedy to my toy haulder. *jb | |||

| Dt: numerous repairs done to pull behind travel trailer. 1. the frame has been out of square and couldn't open the rear door . 2. the floor on the left sags by an inch. 3. the trailer blows tires easily. 4. the windows and vent open on their own due to vibration. consumer received a recall about the frame structure that was associated with the problems that the consumer was having. currently, the manufacturer says that there is no recall on it. they will be mailing out new notices explaining why they were misinformed. he talked to shawn mapes. when the consumer calls mr mapes he hangs up on him. also, talked to ceo. manufacturer is thorcalifornia, 2004 tahoe fury.*ak | |||

| Running gear fault / workshop! comes on when the vehicle is moving over a hard bump. dealer says that vw sent a 'fix and it should be ok. it is not ok !! i was reading in a porsche forum that the air spring on a cayenne gave out and the vehicle trolled over in an off roading trip!!!
