| The design ( angle ) of the windshield creates severe visibility problems when driving into the sun. the glare off the front windshield is blinding even with the sunshade down. using sunglasses helps but does not elevate the problem at all. i have tried adjusting seat to change viewing angle but wont help. this is a problem i have never experienced with any other vehicles i have driven. this concerns me very much and makes me hesitant to drive the car in the mornings. with sun behind you there are no problems with visibility. *jb | |||

| I have a garage kept convertible and recently the entire dash has cracked above the steering wheel (from left side all the way to the right side). also above the glove compartment it is cracked. there are thousands of people complaining about this same issue on google.com (i entered solara cracked dash). i took it in to my local toyota dealership and they said no recall on this item and they handed me a repair estimate of approx. $2200. next i filed a complaint with toyota and their answer was there is no recall and no assistance on the repair will be given at this time. i would like to see the government take some action on this vehicle defect. also please tell me if a class action lawsuit has been filed that i can join. thank you. | |||

| The consumer is unsatisfied with the bumpers inability to absorb a certain level of abuse without sustaining damage. *nm the consumer would like the status of the software update to correct the hesitation of the car to react immediately when attempting to accelerate. the inability of the car to accelerate in a timely manner is disconcerting to the consumer especially when driving in heavy, fast moving traffic. a nauseating rotten egg odor could be smelled inside the passenger compartment of the vehicle. *nm | |||

| 2004 toyota camry solara convertible. convertible roof is defective, wind noise is terrible, wind gets under car roof on highway and causes car to move as though it is hydroplanning (even on dry pavement). *ak also- rear headrests block so much of the back window that there is no way (even with mirrors) to see around blind spots | |||
