I was driving uphill on a one-way street in downtown when i saw and heard the sparks about 1 minute apart from each other on the front left side between the crack of the hood, the car lost power and turned off. i started it again, and it only moved about two feet and turned off. the car started to roll back, and the steering wheel locked making it impossible to steer. an unknown driver who was in front of us was merging to park to the right told us to get off because the car was on fire, next the smoke was visible. it began to smell like burned plastic, and then we saw the thick grey smoke coming through the crack of the hood. i pulled the hand emergency brake to stop the car from rolling back down any further. i opened the hood we all got out of the car. i went back inside the car to unhooked the harness off my dog. i was so scared that i couldn't release my dog, and my son's girlfriend helped me, and we got my dog out. my son, his girlfriend and i got the super-size large drink we just bought at mcdonald's and dumped on the fire with the help of the unknown man who got a bucket of some liquid possibly water from the hotel next to us, and the fire was out. i was so terrifying of how rapid my car caught on fire and how fast everything happening. my car was well maintained by toyota regularly, and the mechanic told us that there is no known reason why the fire started. toyota has replaced the defected computer twice, the transmission once, i had two electrical problems in the past, and i do not feel safe in a car with so many manufacturers defective parts. unexplainable fire, is the response i got from the insurance and repair shop which does not make me feel safe to drive a car that could caught fire at any time.

While exiting a parking lot onto a main road, the car stalled during acceleration. the driver attempted to restart the car, however, the car would not start. the starter continued to turn, but the engine would not turnover. after waiting approximately 10 minutes the car restarted, but then stalled again after approximately 30 seconds of running. the driver noticed the check engine light on the instrument panel was illuminated. thinking it may be a fuel level problem, the driver went to the gas station and bought three gallons of gas and put it in the car. but the engine stalled again after running for a few seconds. the driver let the car sit in the parking lot over night and attempted to restart it in the morning, again, the car stalled after approximately one minute. after reading numerous entries pertaining to the corolla's ecm, the driver had to get the car towed to the nearest dealership.

On august 7, 2011 when i got off of work i started my 2007 toyota corolla and i noticed that the engine light was on and it wasnt on when i drove to work earlier. on the way home i noticed the car started to sound funny then the battery light and oil light came on and suddenly the car started to loose power. i suddenly try to speed up to get into a parking light before the car shut off but it wont accelerate, i made it into the parking light and the car jus shut off while in drive. so i turn off the car and try to restart it but it wont start. so i had to leave the car in the parking light and catch a ride home. the next morning i went back to get the car it started but then it shut off, i got the battery checked and it was good. i got the car towed to the toyota dealership and they told me that they have to replace the computer. i'm very upset because now i dont have no transportation and i have to work also i'm scared i fixed it and it go bad again and my car only have 19,800 miles on it.

2007 toyota corolla suddenly stalled. after researching the problem it appears to be a bad ecm which appears to be a common problem for toyota corollas between the years 05 2005-2007. this is potentially a dangerous situation since the car just dies. many forums have stated that they were fortunate that they were not rear ended. since this is a known problem, toyota should recall this item and avoid potential harm to the consumer.

2007 toyota corolla. consumer states that the vehicle's engine began to speed up by itself while driving. *kb the consumer also stated the engine light illuminated. the consumer stated he was involved in a car accident while waiting at a light. when the light turned green, he removed his foot from the brake pedal when suddenly the vehicle accelerated and the consumer hit the vehicle in front of him, and then another vehicle rear ended him. the vehicle was taken to the repair shop to have the necessary repairs made and to see why the vehicle was accelerating on its own. a few months later, the engine light illuminated again. the dealer informed the consumer the ecu needed to be replaced. also, the air bag light illuminated and there was a knocking noise coming from the engine. *jb

Check engine light came on 11/14/10 and car started slam shifting, and died on freeway. the car started again, and i took it to xx in moreno valley next day. dealer said faulty ecu (dtc p2716) and the part must be ordered. i asked if they could provide a loaner car because i don't feel safe driving the car with a faulty ecm. i was told part will most likely be in tuesday or wednesday. the dealer said a loaner car would not be provided unless the car totally stop operating. i live in san bernardino and work in moreno valley, approx 26 miles one way. i have aaa towing basic for 6 miles. i would usually purchase aaa southern ca automobile club towing for up to 100 miles, but because i bought a new reliable toyota, i just got the basic towing in case the battery died. i don't have towing to get the car to moreno valley in case it completely stops running. i'm worried about safety and logistics! i don't trust this toyota corolla. dealer will not keep the car and give me a loaner until the part arrives. will toyota be responsible if this car stalls again in traffic and causes an accident? will toyota be responsible if this car needs to be towed to the dealer? will toyota be responsible if the transmission becomes damaged from the hard shifting? will toyota be responsible if the car catches fire from faulty electrical wiring? this corolla has had brake and steering problems. brake fluid always low, although brakes verified as repaired and okay by technician. the wheel bearing on the front driver's side wheel is going bad and the tire will not hold air. the tire has been examined and is good. i smell electrical burning once in awhile. the belt tensioner pully bearing bad. occasionally, smell antifreeze, which indicates a leaking head gasket. wind noise, windows creak when moved up/down. the locks squeak. the interior rattles. the paint job is runny, weld points are sloppy. car stalling, slam shifting, then cutting off. the car has a little over 50,000 miles.

 1. pulled up to a red traffic light and stopped 2. car stalled and would not restart. called a wrecker to tow car to toyota dealership. traffic was blocked for around 30 minutes. we were in danger of being rear ended the entire time. 3. toyota dealership said the ecu had failed and they installed a new one

My daughter's 2007 corolla check engine light illuminated while driving back to college on 8/29/10. she stated that the car started to jerk periodically also. she was able to drive home safely the following day and i took it to my mechanic on 8/30/10. he said that there was a bulletin released regarding a recall on the ecm and to take it to the dealer for repair. i took it to toyota mall of georgia and handed the service rep the printout of the bulletin and explained what had happened. i asked him if this had to do with the recent recall - he said that this wasn't recent since the date on the bulletin was 2007. he said probably the ecm needed to be replaced and would call when he knew for sure. a few hours later he said that the ecm was replaced at no charge. in the interim, i had done some research and found that there was a recall bulletin issued on 8/26/10 so when i picked up the car later that evening, i questioned a different service rep and he said he didn't know about any recall! huh? didn't the other rep tell me that this was from 2007? i said why did you replace the ecm then, he said because there is a start up issue with the ecm. i told him we weren't having start up trouble, but that the engine light came on and the car started to jerk. i told him what i had learned about the engine stalling while driving and asked him if these issues were fixed with this replacement and he said no, just the start up issue!! he said since there wasn't a recall on the stalling issue, they couldn't fix this. i was totally confused and did not feel safe putting my daughter back in that car. now i see all these complaints going back to 2007 regarding this. toyota has known about this for 3 years and has done nothing to inform the public. meanwhile my daughter has basically been driving a time bomb for the past 3 years!! i don't feel that the replacement has corrected the problem, so now what is my recourse? please help!

My check engine light came on a few months ago, and then turned off. my transmission started shifting rough and jerking between gears - particularly going in and out of reverse. a few weeks later my dash light went out, and my tail lights stopped working. i called toyota, and they had me come in to the dealership to have my ecu re-calibrated. rather than re-calibrating it, i was told after the appointment that they had replaced the ecu. the replacement ecu was installed on august 7, 2010. they were unable to help me with the lighting problem because they said it was a fuse problem. none of my fuses are blown. the car does not have as hard of a time shifting between gears as it did before the ecu replacement, but now i am hardly able to accelerate up the hill to my house. my engine revs up to almost 4000rpm just trying to get up to 30mph. the engine is working hard and is loud, the car has been vibrating during acceleration, and it takes a lot of pressure on the brakes to stop the car. there was a recall announced on my car, and i went to toyota.com to check my vin. it is involved in the recall, but i already had the new part they say i need installed and the problem persists. i want to return this car.

When i was backing out my 2007 toyota corolla the engine stalled (had the airconditioner at full blast as it was a hot day). fortunately, i successfully restarted it and promptly drove it to the toyota dealership (brought it first to firestone autocare but they adviced me to bring it to toyota). they found out that the car was jumpy specifically when backing out. it was running funny even when moving forward. before they fixed the car, they asked me if my car was still under warranty - (3 years or 36000 miles whichever comes first) and i told them that it was not. they told me afterwards that they had to replace the ecu unit and that i don't have to pay anything because it was still under warranty which i found strange as i was given the impression that the car was not under warranty.

 1. 08/23/2010- left for work car stalled, hard knocking in gear. car inoperable i had it towed to the dealer where i purchased it. 2. engine control module was replaced 04/23/2009 , part # 89661-02k21,vehicle was still under warranty. this incident 08/23/2010 the service department advised the vehicle has the same issue , the engine control module which was replaced 04/23/2009 ,the engine control module at a cost of approximately $1000.00 to repair , plus the cost of a rental car. the mileage at this time is 83,419. so i am advised it is not under warranty. this same issue has occured twice in two years. not to mention the cost of this repair but will it happen in the next two months? it is obvious to me this vehicle has a defect. thnak gooodness the car behind me was paying attention to fact i was having difficulties or an accident could have easily occured.

I planned a 200-mile (one way) vacation over memorial day weekend, may 28 - 31, 2010. i had no signs of car troubles at the start of my vacation on may 28 and no car troubles during my vacation. however, as i was getting ready to drive the 200 miles back home on may 31, i started my car, but it died. i started it again, and it died. i made sure the accessories were off and that nothing was draining the battery. i then started the car again, and the engine ran for 30 seconds and then died. since the car was still covered by the manufacturer's warranty, i called toyota roadside assistance and the toyota dealership, but the dealership's service department was closed for the holiday. with no way to get back home, i had no choice but to request a day off from work the next day, june 1, and contacted toyota roadside assistance again. they towed my car to the dealership for inspection and repair. after they had a chance to review, they told me the computer/ecm (electronic control module)/ecu (electronic control unit) failed, and it was causing an electrical short to the entire car's electrical system. they replaced the ecm free of charge. while i am very thankful i was parked and in a safe location (not driving on the highway), this should not happen to a fairly new car with under 36,000 miles. i searched complaints, and it appears others have had the same issue with their 2005 - 2007 corollas. toyota issued a tsb but did not mail it to all their potentially affected customers. toyota should be required to fix these cars instead of waiting for their customers to complain and tow it to the dealership when their cars break down!

Car failed state inspection once (emissions) because car's computer would not communicate with the testing equipment. dealer retested and got it to pass / work. two weeks later, the car, which never had any engine light indications stopped in city driving. the engine light came on and 3 seconds later the engine stopped. had to drift over to the side of the road and have car towed. engine would restart but not stay on for more than 1 minute. dealer replaced the car's computer module (ecu).

We own a 2007 toyota corolla four-door with a 1.8 liter dohc engine. since purchasing this car, we bought it used with low miles, we have had four engine control modules in this car. the first one was in the car when we bought it. the second was replaced free of charge by toyota in may or june of 2009 under tsb tc015-07. the third one was replaced in columbus, ga., by toyota on july 12, 2010 which we had to pay for and the fourth one was replaced on july 14, 2010 by toyota in mobile, al., free of charge under warranty...two days later. the second and third ecm problem caused the car to stall.

My 2007 corolla stalled at an intersection. i was waiting at a stop light and then all of a sudden the engine stalled and would not start again. i called a friend who helped me push my car to the side of the road. i then called aaa and they came and towed my car to a car service. this happened at 8:30pm today and so the car service was already closed and i will have to wait till friday morning to understand what caused this. it was a harrowing and terrifying experience and i feared for my safety.

2007 corolla le, auto transmission began to shift violently. engine check light came on and the car became sluggish. brought the vehicle into service and was informed that the ecu was bad and replacement was needed. i was told that this is a very common issue and toyota released a tsb in 2007. the technician replaced the ecu only to find out that the replacement was bad as well.

My 2007 corolla le had 59.5k miles when check engine light lit. while driving to work my check engine light came on. i stopped by autozone and they read the code it stated replace the ecu. i took the car to the dealer and they replaced the ecu. this is very disappointing since i previously owned a 1992 toyota pesao and from 24k to 250k miles i never once had any issues with the engine or the electronics. now this car is blowing up computers at 60k? last time i buy a toyota!

Driving my 2007 toyota corolla on a 4 lane highway, i was in the left lane to turn and the car just shut down. coasted into a parking lot, and tried to restart the car and it was fine. arrived home in the driveway, my husband opened the hood and asked me to turn the car on, left it running and it shut down in about 3 minutes. this happened on several occasions. called the nearest toyota dealer and scheduled an appointment. had the car towed and was told by the dealer that the computer needed to be replaced. this was under warranty.

I own a 2007 toyota corolla which i bought in november 2006. since that time i have had nothing but problems out of my vehicle, from cosmetics, to vibrating steering wheel, air conditioning issues, leaking struts, alignment issues, and most recently the ecm. i was driving to the store, and right before i turned into a busy intersection my car shook, and then the engine shut off. all of the lights and service indicators came on, and then shut off leaving only the check engine light on. i tried to start my vehicle again, but nothing. my friend had to help me to push the vehicle into a nearby parking lot. there, i was able to start the car again, and so i headed home. just as i got to my house, the car shut off again, and right before it shut off, it wouldn't even give gas. i had my car towed to a nearby shop, and after checking the entire car and doing a diagnostic, i was told it was the ecm and that it would cost 650 to repair (and that's for a used/rebuilt one). i called toyota, and they said that it was covered under warranty up to 80,000 miles. i am just under 80,000 miles thank god. the guy i spoke with sounded as if he wasn't surprised of the issue. i am having my vehicle towed to toyota today, and i guess will see how this all pans out. the bad part about it all is, what if they fix the problem and it happens again? and what other issues are there that they know about and their consumers don't. plus, who is gonna pay for peoples time off work for these repairs, and their inconveniences? at this point i am very disappointed in toyota! i wanted to purchase the 2010 toyota corolla next, or the lexus rx320, but i will definitely pass on that now!

While getting on the freeway my car lost almost all acceleration in heavy traffic. pulled off the freeway turned off car, restated it and it sounded, felt normal. i drove 11 miles home. next day: driving to toyota 2miles away, engine light comes on, car shuts down at intersection in traffic, blocks from toyota dealership. car stalls 4 more times to dealership.

Yesterday our 2007 toyota corolla(13,000) stopped dead in flow of traffic on a highway-luckly we merged to shoulder narrowly missing being hit by traffic. the car was fixed w/ a new computer system. checking if others had this problem it turns out that diagnostic code p0607 has a very bad & significant history with 2007 corolla-cars just die!!! but no recall. we almost died and similar situations have been reported.

My 2007 toyota corolla's engine shut off as i was getting off the entrance ramp to a busy highway. i was able to glide the car to the side of the rode. i restarted the car and pressed down the accelerator and the car would not go (even when i pressed the accelerator to the floor). the car shut off again. i restarted it, it lurched forward and immediately shut off again. i could not restart it again. the check engine, oil light, and battery light all came on but only the check engine light remained on. i had the car towed to the local toyota dealer and they determined the problem was the ecu.

My 2007 toyota corolla sport just shut itself off without any warning while driving up a hill. it has done this several times since this first incident and my father-in-law who it a mechanic diagnosed the problem as a faulty ecm. according to him there are a lot of shops in our area that have had to replace them. the dealer even has the new updated part in stock, which means they know it is a problem. do i have any recourse with all of toyota's electrical problems?

I have a 2007 toyota corolla. twice the check engine light came on for a period of 24 hours and then went off for a week. i took the car to the toyota dealer and they replaced the computer. i am reporting this as i know there is serious concern about the computer electronic system in the toyotas. i thought this piece of information might be helpful to you. *tr

2007 toyota corolla experiencing throttle surging. *kb the consumer stated the vehicle took off suddenly. he applied the brake as hard as he could, but before the vehicle stopped it crashed into a heavy tool box and some other containers and into the back wall of the garage. the bumper was damaged. the second time, while backing out of the garage, the vehicle suddenly took off again. he immediately applied the brake forcefully, but the vehicle did not stop before he reached the street. there was no damage. the third time, the vehicle suddenly surged forward in the midst of stop and go traffic. fortunately, there was space between it and the car ahead, so he was able to stop before contact. the consumer also stated he had problems with the door and ignition. he had four different batteries in the vehicle since it was purchased. he was told that the first two had bad cells in them. *jb

While driving my 2007 corolla i lost power to the engine on a busy intersection. thankfully i was not hit by oncoming traffic. got towed to a garage. received the code p0607. researched and found a tsb on this issue tsb eg042-07. my car is at 94000 miles and the tsb only covers up to 80,000. this is a known issue with 2006 and 2007 toyota's. i called toyota corporate and a ticket was generated for my case. the district manager said she would do nothing to replace this part. so much for helping a (former) reliable toyota owner. a recall was never done. i now need to replace a computer for $900 on a 3 year old car. this is a major safety issue. i see many others have had this same issue. i see that the nhtsa has begun an investigation on this. i hope that toyota does not get away with this! *tr

I was driving in a parking lot and my engine suddenly died, for no apparent reason. i tried to restart the engine but it wouldn't start. i coasted into a spot, and then i restarted the car. this time it started fine. the engine revved loudly. i attempted to move the car forward, but it stalled again after a few feet. when i reported it to the dealer, they told me that the ecm was bad, but they could not identify what had caused the defect. *tr

While driving on a crowded 4 lane street in wadsworth ohio , my car suddenly lost acceleration, it did not stall but the check engine light came on and the speed reduced to 5 to 10 miles instantly with busy traffic all around me, i put my hazard lights on right away because there were cars coming behind me at normal speed, i slowly moved my car cautiously to the furthest right lane, where i was able to go into a parking lot. this has happened on several occasions, i was able to get the car to my mechanic where he hooked it up to a computer analyzer, the result showed that the control module performance code p0607, which is a computer malfunction, we have contacted a toyota dealer, we have an appointment for them to do there own diagnosis, and hopefully fix the problem, in the mean time i cannot drive car and not worry about my safety on the road. *tr

Have a 2007 toyota carolla.this is what happened, me and my wife were out shopping. we went all over the place that day, we pulled in to the local walmart and the car just died. tried to change the battery ,but nothing. had it towed to the shop. 1 week later they said it was a fusible link.  Driving on 210 fwy. going east, speed was approx. 70, when car stalled, aka died. the car turned off and slowed down, making us slam on hazards and brakes. this same problem has happened twice in the past week. we took it to crown toyota and found out the ecu is bad. but they then proceed to tell us its only covered for up to 80,000 miles. they then proceed to tell us its a problem on some corollas, but not all. so there is no recalls, so we would have to pay to fix the problem. *cn

I bought a 2007 toyota corolla about 3 years ago. i had a very bad experience on jan. 29, 2010. (1) firstly, when i got off work, i could not start the engine. i tried 3 times, and engine was finally started and both the battery and engine check lights were on. i was very worried and decided to go to a dealership the next day. (2) the next morning, i drove to a toyota dealership nearby. when i stopped at a red traffic light on my way to the dealership, my engine was shut off automatically!!! i was so nervous, quickly turned on my emergency light and tried to start the engine again. the engine was started and finally i arrived at toyota dealership. the dealer checked my car and found the engine control module went bad. they replaced it with a new ecm. the problem went away for now. my car is only about 22,000 miles. i am very concerned about the quality of toyota's electronics. *tr

December 17, 2009 the ecm unit failed in our 2007 toyota corolla. engine cut off. this is a known problem. there was an angel on my daughter's shoulder as she was on a low traffic city street when this happened and she was able to pull over safely. if this had happened on the freeway it could've been deadly. *tr

Had been driving my car for 10 minutes when the lights started to flicker. i started to slow and then the car died. there wasn't any power and i was unable to steer the car. fortunately, there was very light traffic at 0613 and no one hit my car. this has never happened before. my parents arrived within 15 minutes. my dad cleaned the battery terminals and the battery did spark. car would not restart. a few people helped us push the car off the road. towed to closest, reputable, mechanic. main fusible link blown. wiring w/o rating. mechanic called toyota and there wasn't any literature available to give mechanic the rating. toyota refused to send wiring diagram. mechanic found online and still no info on rating. replaced with heaviest rating available. problem fixed and unable to duplicate what caused problem. most concerning is that mechanic cannot guarantee that this will not happen again. car then to toyota dealership. they were also unable to duplicate problem and cannot guarantee that it will not happen again. toyota customer service was most unhelpful, implying that i had somehow caused the problem. also, indicated that i should have gone to toyota dealership first. car no longer under warranty so i have no obligation to do go to them for service. *tr

Re: 2007 toyota corolla ce, purchased in july 2007, approx. 15,000 miles. on 7/29/09, car stalled to a complete stop while driving. luckily, i was not driving on the highway (i-95) as i normally do. stalled on my block after i made turn into street. after a minute, was able to restart with minimal engine power to travel another 100 feet. had to repeat this until i reached my driveway. car was towed to dealership. they told me that this was a defect (wire for the computer dislodged or fell off and caused the problem). there was no indication that this was going to happen. no time to pull off to side of the road. only check engine light appeared when trying to restart engine. this is a very dangerous situation and without some indication that this will happen, there could have been a serious accident resulting in injury or worse. dealer replaced the part that day. *tr

We purchased our 2007 corolla le brand new. we realized that after parking and restarting the car and commencing to drive, a loud click was heard from the front of the car. we brought the car to the dealer and they said the clicking noise was normal and is mentioned in the manual. i informed them that our previous corolla never had this problem and they said nothing needs to be done. if i wanted, a new computer would have to be installed but the waiting time was extensive. i refused this explanation and nothing was done. in addition, the car surges when the air con or defroster is on but again, the dealer found nothing. recently, one of the belts was squeaking and had to be replaced. in addition, an oil change and build-up on the battery removed. the cost - over $320. i told the dealer of the extended warranty we purchased and they told me nothing was covered. we feel that the extended warranty was useless and the corolla dealer just looking to make money. these incidents started in 2007 and continued to 2009. *tr

Tl*the contact owns a 2007 toyota corolla. the contact stated that the computer in the vehicle failed and had to be replaced. the computer is related to the gears and power windows. whenever the gears are being shifted, the vehicle would shake severely. the contact had to get new brakes and rotors installed four times since the vehicle was purchased. in addition, the vehicle received numerous alignments because the steering wheel would shake when the brakes were applied. two sensors also caused the engine to stop running. the vehicle has been taken to the dealer for repair numerous times, but the failures still persist. all of the failures began five months after the vehicle was purchased. the failure mileage was 4,000 and current mileage was 60,000.

My husband's 2007 toyota corolla came to a complete and sudden stop while he was driving. fortunately, he was able to get to the side of the road without an accident and aaa towed him to a toyota dealer/service dept. the asst. service manager had the main computer replaced at no charge on the warranty. he told us that they have seen the main computer suddenly fail only on toyota corolla's 2003 - 2007. this is serious and i am very shaken -- it could have happened in an intersection or on the freeway. his attitude implied that it was not uncommon. *tr

While operating this vehicle at approx 35mph, there was a sudden and complete loss of power. engine continued to run smoothly but absolutely no acceleration or power. this caused the vehicle to slow to a stop at a very dangerous and busy intersection. i returned home at idle speed and placed the car in the garage. check engine light was on. days later i restarted the car and everything appeared ok and recovered. check engine light eventually went out. then it occurred again while making a right hand turn at another intersection. very dangerous, very scary. the car was garaged and later towed to the dealership. the dealership conceded that the problem was the computer or ecm. there is a tsb concerning this and they are aware of this problem with toyota corollas. fortunately, i still had 6k miles left on my warranty so this repair and the tow was covered by toyota. i was told that had this been an out of warranty the repair would have been $1300 for an 18month old car! i believe this is a safety issue and toyota should notify every owner of this vehicle for this possible problem. i also believe this defect should be repaired regardless of warranty limitations. *tr

While driving on the highway, the rpms dropped and there was a total loss of power. i had to coast to the side of the highway, the engine light came on. the car had approx. 19,500 miles on it. i had the car towed to the dealer and they replaced the computer module and the fuel pump. four days later the car died again while driving and i had to have it towed a second time and the dealer replaced the fuel pump and gasket. the car has 26,000 miles on it now and has not repeated this incident. needless to say, my perception of quality is negative. *tr

It starts with the car not feeling like it is receiving fuel to the engine, then a couple of weeks later, it just dies and won't start back up. first time i was stopped at a red light, it just died and i had it pushed to the side of the road. i left the vehicle and returned half an hour later in which it did restart. i had the vehicle towed to the toyota dealership in which it turns out found that it was a censor that was bad and replaced. the second time it stalled on me, again, i could tell that fuel wasn't getting to the engine in short intervals. then a couple of weeks later, i was traveling at a speed of 55 mph when it just died and wouldn't start back up at all. it was towed again to the toyota dealership where they say it was a blown fuse. in both instances there is power to the vehicle. the radio, air, wipers, flashers, etc all work fine. but the engine doesn't work. *tr
