Tl*the contact owns a 2010 toyota corolla. while driving approximately 5 mph through a car wash, the contact noticed that water was leaking through the sunroof area. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer who could not diagnose the failure. the failure recurred; therefore, the contact took the vehicle back to the dealer. the dealer restated that there were no failures but instructed the contact to hand wash the vehicle instead of taking it through a car wash; the dealer also stated that the failure occurred on twelve 12-15 vehicles out of 20. the failure continued to occur. the failure mileage was 2,501. the current mileage was approximately 4,000.

2010 toyota corolla - trunk falling on my head as i tried to take out groceries from the trunk. it has happened 4 times; 2 times for me, once on my daughter and once on my son. when you open the trunk, it does not stay open especially if the car is on an incline. even on flat surface, it has the tendency to close/shut. *tr

1)front bumper is been replaced 2 on my car as the strip of a remolded tire of a truckthat gets peald off due to heat while driving on the road hit my car twice and the front bumper gets damaged or broken immediately.it costed me 600$ to fix it 2) it happened to me twice. 3)i think that the remolding of tyres is to be band or proper process so as it does not seperate.yes and now the tyres are made bigger and broder onlt one instead of two in trailers which is bad. 3)it the bumper gets damaged just by a hit does mean that the bumper is weak to save us from a real crash.it is toyota, carolla 2010.

Feb. 15, 2010 to: national highway safety administration re.: defect in toyota corolla i recently reported to both my local toyotal dealership and to toyota motor sales usa (national customer relations, 9001 southwestern ave, dept. wc11; torrance, ca 90509) that the play on the trunk lid on our 2010 corolla was so loose that even though the trunk lid would be pushed all the way up, a sudden gust of wind would send it flying down on whoever was loading items into the trunk. this has happened on several occasions to my wife. on one occasion the lid came down on my wife's head and again on her arm on several different occasions. please see the attached photo showing the effect of the lid being blown down on her arm. the dealer agreed that compared to the trunk lid on my camry, the lid on the corolla did indeed swing too freely and that the cause was a design flaw as the lid was functioning within the manufacturer's specifications . the dealer suggested that i contact toyota. i did that, explained the situation, and was assigned case. nothing has been done regarding this design flaw. perhaps you can convince toyota to reduce the play on the trunk lid so that we can actually use the trunk of the car without experiencing injury. *tr

I purchased a 2010 toyota corolla last fall but have driven it very little. this is a dangerous car to drive. when driving on the highway the steering requires constant correction. it seems to continuously drift right or left and is very exhausting. i mentioned it to the service mgr. and he said decreasing the tire pressure a little may help. it did not. toyota should recognize that this is a real and serious problem and address it before there reputation is further damaged. *tr
