Both front tires were worn in the middle after only 15,000 miles! when i went to have them rotated, they couldn't rotate them because there wasn't enough tread left. so, i went to replace the yokohama geolandar tires, but soon found out that there was no warranty, no pro-rated replacement...nothing!!! i had maintained proper inflation in both tires, but i noticed other 2008 toyota rav4 cars in parking lots with the same premature tread wear on front tires. how can toyota sell a car with tires that include no warranty?? so i had to pay for two new tires on a car that was less than 2 years old! i will never buy a toyota again!

Tl*the contact owns a 2008 toyota rav4. the vehicle has yokohama geolandar g- 91a tires, size 225/6.5/17 101h (na). these tires were the original tires at the time of purchase. while driving 65 mph, the front passenger side tire blew out. the contact heard a loud thumping noise and maneuvered the vehicle off the highway. there was smoke emitting from the tire and shreds of rubber everywhere. the dealer was unable to assist. the manufacturer stated that they would not be responsible for the failure. the dot number was unknown. the failure and current mileages were less than 7,370.
