| 2005 scion xb windshield. rock chips turn into huge cracks! i have never had a vehicle windshield do this. what would the point be in replacing it?! are there any recalls for these windshields? | |||

| 2005 scion xb windshield crack in the midline, between the wipers. for no apparent reason the crack continuously increasing length. didn't hit anything nor it occured from some object. bought this car used from the dealer and from the looks of it this windshield is not oem stock, might be replaced windshield and possibly this issue has occured before. | |||

| Tl- the contact owns a 2005 toyota scion xb. the contact stated that from the time they purchased the vehicle there have had problems with chips in the windshield. the contact stated that the windshield has 100 little chips and four dime size chips in the windshield. the vehicle has not been taken to the dealer yet and the insurance company will not replace anything that is not in the line of site. the failure mileage on the vehicle was 6 and the current mileage was 99000.rl | |||

| I have a 2005 scion xb i have had to have the windshield replaced so far due to cracks caused by rocks. i just found out that this is a common issue with scion xb's but toyota of scion is no help what so every they keep giving me the run around. i have never had any type of problem like this with any other cars i've had and have never had to have a windshield replaced. this car seems like !! i have contacted scion with no luck. when will this be fix?? *tr | |||

| The windshield in my vehicle is not very good. in the first two weeks it cracked and soon after i had another crack. i did not hear any hit on my windshield while driving. i think that it is the way the vehicle is built. i have heard the same complaint from other car owners so i thought i would voice me concern here. thank you *tr | |||

| I am now forced to replace my windshield for the third time on my scion xb 05'. every time it starts out with a tiny chip that leads to a crack that spreads quickly. the design of the car and the angle of the glass contribute to this problem. *jb | |||

| We have a 2005 scion xb we have had to have the windshield replaced twice so far due to cracks caused by rocks. in addition we have had to have chips repaired several times. i have heard that this seems to be a common issue with scion xb's but even though scion is no help. in all my years of having cars i have never had any type of problem like this and have never had to have a windsheild replaced. this car seems like you have to replace a windshield like you replace your oil !! i have contacted scion with no luck or no remendy. *nm | |||
