| Tl-the contact owns a 2008 toyota scion xd. the contact stated that while driving 75 mph, the check engine light illuminated then the vehicle decelerated to 10 mph. the contact was able to coast the vehicle the shoulder. the vehicle resumed normal function after the engine cooled down. the failure was experienced several times. the vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was found that the ignition coil had failed. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. the approximate failure and current mileage was 61,000. mah | |||
