Parking brake needs constant adjustment to be effective. the parking brake is completely unusable after less than 2,000 miles after an adjustment. i have asked toyota about this several times, but have never received an effective solution or answer to the problem. since i very rarely use my parking brake, it is very easy to not know that it does not work.
Consumer states every 3000 miles the vehicle brakes are being replaced. due to brake pedal having to be pressed to the floor before they stop vehicle. dealer has replaced brakes and rotors. please provide any further information. ts

Brake problem presented itself by the vehicle vibrating when braking from high speed. all brakes required servicing and then replacement. emergency brake required adjusting three times within 20,000 miles. when only one window is open at speeds greater than 30 mph, causes severe pressure vibrations inside the vehicle interior. pressure vibrations extremely distracting and annoying.*ak

Tracking control and emergency brake lights stay on all the time. have had the problem fixed twice, but within a week or 2, the lights come back on and stay on incessantly. toyota service center says there is nothing they can do about it, so i have lived with it for 4+ years now. the brakes shake the entire vehicle when applied, they feel warped or bumpy. again, there is nothing they can do about it.
