| The toyota sequoia was being driven on the freeway at 65 mph when it was struck on the passenger side by a vw jetta that cut across several lanes as it entered the highway impacting the sequoia in the rear quarter panel and the front passenger side fender, as well as some contact with the passenger side front wheel, this side impact broke the drivers side front wheel control arm, the wheel turned to the left tearing the tire apart pulling the sequoia to the left causing it to crash into the center divider on the freeway. the impact fractured the driver's sternum. *tr | |||

| Tl* the contact owns a 2007 toyota sequoia. the contact stated that the vehicle stalled numerous times while steering to the right. the vehicle was taken to the dealer who performed a diagnostic that was unable to locate a failure code. the vehicle was also test driven, but the failure did not duplicate. the vehicle has not been repaired. the failure mileage was 64,000 and the current mileage was 65,000. | |||

| 2007 toyota sequoia would not restart, key would not turn. consumer states that the mechanic told him it was the steering wheel lock. mechanic also stated there was no fix for this failure. *kb the consumer had to pull really hard on the steering wheel in order for the key to release. the consumer stated there were other problems with the vehicle such as failure of the supplemental restraint system, poor cruise control performance and failure of the dvd player. *jb | |||
