| I have many cracks all over my dash board, especially on the passenger side by the glove compartment. i have 80k miles on my car and it has progressively gotten worse. i believe that this could interfere with the air bags. this is a garage kept vehicle. | |||

| We have a 2004 toyota solara. recently we have noticed several cracks/fractures in the dash board, primarily on the passanger side of the vehicle. research has shown that this is a common problem with this model year. toyota maintains the situation is cosmetic and not covered under warrantee or recall. our concern is this is a possible safety issue, as the passanger side airbag is deployed through the dashboard. if the dashboard is weakened by this cracking. would this increase the possibility the airbag deploying incrorrectly, thus raising the possibility of injury or death? we have a disabled daughter that frequently sits in the passanger side of the vehicle and we want to make sure the situation is safe for her. | |||
