| Tl*the contact owns a 2007 toyota solara. he stated that while starting the vehicle he heard clicking noises from the starter and the vehicle would not start. the contact was able to jump start the battery so that he could drive it to the dealer. the dealer diagnosed the vehicle stating that it was the ignition wire that was touching the 2nd wire causing an open circuit draw, they explained that it was in a protective harness and that this should have never happened and that this is a manufacturer defect. there were repairs which included a replacement battery and the ignition wire harness which was repaired as well at the owners expense. the failure mileage was 24753 and current mileage was 24803. updated 01/29/10. *lj updated 02/01/10*jb | |||
