I own a 1996 toyota t100 4wd truck. the truck has 130k miles and runs excellent and has very little body rust. however, it will not pass inspection because of extensive frame corrosion and extreme corrosion to the lower control arms and cab mounts in the form of rust. there are numerous holes in the frame and lower control arms and the rust chips fall off in large chunks. *tr

At 40 mph, vehicle was forced to swerve off road. vehicle struck a culvert and flipped over onto its roof. both driver and passenger were wearing seatbelts. passenger said she was thrown all over the vehicle in the rollover and ended up in the rear seat. driver doesn't remember much of accident but ended up outside the vehicle. driver has steel plate and screws in right knee and passenger also had knee injury only requiring stitches. *ak

Tl*the contact owns a 1996 toyota t100. while changing the oil, the contact noticed that the frame was rusting underneath the vehicle, as well as the rear spring shackles. the manufacturer was unable to assist. the contact feels that the vehicle will crack in half if it is not repaired. the current mileage was 183,000 and failure mileage was 170,000.
