| 2008 trailmaster dual axle boat trailer for sun tracker 25 pb. rear left axle damaged due to ball bearing buddy flew off while towing in hwy15 on 5 feb 2011 . enroute to silver wood lake, i was pulled over by a chp officer for safety reason, who was following me, that he saw something flew off from the trailer .brought to the dealer at bass pro in rancho cucamonga for check, found out that the ball bearing buddy might not have been installed correctly by manufacturer since this is bearing buddy not easily taken off. boat has only 32 hours on it. bought the boat and trailer in sept 2008. i was deployed most of the time so the boat and trailer sits at home mostly. i was informed by the tracker marine service department that the rear axle will have to be replaced. boat will ahve to stayu in shop for 3 weeks while waiting for parts. total cost $2,347.00 including shipping and handling of axle from missouri. ball bearing buddy cost $16.87 at the shop. original boat trailer cost $2,500.00. | |||
