Defect Summary | Triple e is recalling certain model year 2010 regency gt 29db and gt28db motorhomes equipped with flexsteel easy-bed sofa for failing to comply with federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 207, seating system. the easy bed sofa was manufactured without a rollover safety locking latch. | |||||||||||||||
Consequence Summary | In the event of a motor vehicle roll over the easy bed may want to open, with the weight of a seat belted occupant causing the occupant to be injured from the seat belt. | |||||||||||||||

2010 signature a371q motorhome has bottom entrance step with tread of 7 1/4....5 1/4 are rubber covered and 2 are shiny metal with no skid protection. metal is very slippery when wet and owner slipped on step resulting in serious back bruising (luckily not broken back). there should be skid protection on this metal. also top and middle step treads are 9 1/4 and bottom step of only 7 1/4 means unequal treads which is very dangerous. according to house building codes, these would be illegal tread widths. note that the vehicle of regency later on in your form is not correct....does not allow me to input the signature series model. |
