| Tl-the contact owns a 2010 triumph thunderbird. the contact stated that the drive belt wore prematurely and the contact was concerned that it would break causing the wheel to lock up. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealership where the belt and belt pulley were replaced. however, the failure continued. the contact called the manufacturer who advised him to take the vehicle to the dealership. the vehicle had not been repaired at the time of the complaint. the vin was unable to be entered. the current mileage was approximately 8,500. the failure mileage was 1-bk | |||

| Triumph 2010 thunderbird models have defective speedometers that stick often and at times are very erratic. in either case the vehicle's speed cannot be monitored by the driver. triumph has been aware of this problem for some time but they have not issued a recall and continue to sell these motorcycles knowing the speedometers are defective. | |||
