| Tl*the contact owns a 2007 volkswagen beetle convertible. the contact stated that the driver side seat belt, once latched into the connector the air bag light would remain illuminated. the vehicle was inspected by a dealer who advised her that the seat belt sensor was not reading correctly therefore, the air bag light would not detect it. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was contacted and offered no assistance. the failure and current mileages were approximately 62,000. | |||
