| The tire in question is the doughnut spare. it was discovered to have splits and stress cracks when i went to replace a punctured tire on the above date. i still have the damaged spare in my posession. i have reported the failure to both firestone and volvo dealers. the response of each was to offer to sell me a new spare. i have replaced the spare with a new full size tire.
