| 2002 volvo s60 2.4t model. picked up my car from an authorized volvo repair center for routine maintenance and was advised that i needed a new gear box. this gear box runs at a cost of $2,000 with about 4 or 5 hours of labor at $400. the car has only 77,000 miles on it and i strongly believe that it is premature for this part to fail. i have searched the internet references on the topic and find it to be somewhat widespread. i would appreciate some feedback on the issue as i plan to address volvo corporate for a resolution. *tr | |||
