	Tl*the contact owns a 2007 volvo s70(na). while driving the vehicle began accelerating intermittently. after the vehicle speed control recall was repaired with a software upgrade, the vehicle continued to have sudden acceleration. a local mechanic could not perform a smug test due to the vehicle surging up to 40 mph. the manufacturer offered to have a regional technician at the dealer. the contact advised the manufacturer that the repairs stated in the remedy of the recall were not effective. the contact feels that the repair could potentially cause a crash to occur. the vin was unknown. the failure mileage was 103,779.
