 There was vibration from the rear of the vehicle due to the equalizer valve and rear shocks being inoperative, the consumer states the vibration was getting worse and the dealer replaced the front and rear tandem shocks. *yh

 Consumer stated that volvo moved the tanks back 18 inches to take the weight off the front axle, now the tanks get covered with all road dirt and mud on the catwalk, volvo replaced the front wheels and tires with 11r22.5 to cut down on the weight, however the front of the vehicle is still too heavy.*jb

 The vehicle had come with no u-bolts on the rear axle, in 385000 miles 3 drag links, 11 alignments, one set of 4 u-bolts and one set of rear u-bolts was installed on vehicle, consumer also states that the back u-bolts broke off. *yd the tire life/per tire is 70k miles. *scc

 Consumer stated the steering started shaking at 80,000, vehicle was taken to volvo dealer and consumer was informed that the truck had an alignment problem, it was determined that the front left steering tire was worn down to the cord on the inside half, the vehicle was then aligned and it was found that it was 1 inch out of alignment, also the camber and castor were out.*jb

 The vehicle shocks were bad and caused tire wear. the dash shorted out and the speedometer reads incorrectly. the lug nuts constantly come off the wheel. the consumer received a recall on the a/c system but has been unable to find a dealership willing to make the repairs. *tt *nlm

 Consumer states there is a problem with the wiring harness under the dash, the wire broke on the fuel injector wiring harness, the brake lights and flashers quit working due to a short in the harness, and the dash lights continue to blow out. the vehicle has also eperienced u-bolt problems.*jb

 In regards to the heavy weight on the front, consumer could not slide the fifth wheel forward, dealer said they couldn?t do anything. *yd

 The turbo engine failed at 37,000 miles. *yh the consumer also experienced abnormal tire wear and the alternator had gone out. *scc

 The front end of the semi is possibly defective making it difficult to scale to tractor and trailer/overweight, the front end makes popping sounds and the vehicle shutters while braking, the front steering and drive tires experienced excessive wear possible due to the front end suspension problem. nlm
