Tl- the contact owns a 2006 volvo xc90. the contact stated after getting stuck in the snow, they found that the rear wheels were not turning. the vehicle is supposed to be all wheel drive. the contact took the vehicle to the dealer and was told the angle gear was not working because the gears were just spinning and were worn out. the dealer stated this happens because the gears can wear out like brake pads. the contact stated they never heard any warning like a grinding sound. the contact stated if they are driving and hit a slick patch of road, the rear wheels will stop performing, because the electronic stability control fails. the failure mileage was 49,000 and the current mileage was 50,000.rl
