Defect Summary	Certain recreational trailers do not conform to the lighting requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 108, 'lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment.' amber intermediate side marker lamps and reflex reflectors in vehicles longer than 30' in overall length were missing. also the absence of the rear identification lamps in vehicles over 80 in overall width.
Consequence Summary	Without this lighting, and particularly, during night driving conditions or while the trailer is parked, other vehicles may not see a trailer, thereby increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Summary	Weekend warrior or an authorized dealer will add the missing equipment to enhance visibility. the recall is expected to begin during february 2007. owners may contact weekend warrior at 1-800-500-9914.

	Tlthe contact owns a 2005 weekend warrior fk19. the dealer (camping world) stated that the vehicle 's frame needed more support. the contact received a recall notice related to the lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment. he scheduled an appointment for july 2, 2008, but the dealer called him on june 27, 2008 to inform him that his appointment had been cancelled. the manufacturer of weekend warrior has cancelled all appointments with their dealer for the next 90 days for repairs related to the recall. the fresh water tank in the trailer leaks and the dometic refrigerator does not function properly. there is also a severe structural leak in the front of the trailer. updated 07/29/08 bf updated 07/31/08.

	Tl*the contact owns a 2005 weekend warrior fk1900. the contact received a recall notice for nhtsa campaign id number 05v444000 (exterior lighting) and immediately called the dealer. the dealer stated that the parts for the recall repair were unavailable. he attempted to call the manufacturer, but the number listed for them was disconnected. when the contact called the dealer again he was informed that the manufacturer went bankrupt; therefore, the technicians would not repair the vehicle because they would not receive financial reimbursement. also, the parts were unavailable. the vehicle has not been repaired. there had been no failure to date.
